This is a different take on the aromatic category – as we found that when building an Aromatic Bitter that was actually aromatic and did what we wanted and brought the cocktail out of the glass – what it lacked was the dark notes to build bottom and width of the cocktail.
It is more of a classic medicinal take on a classic stomach bitter and really punches though on the dark spice.
There is nothing else like it out there!
Used in cocktail it can give you so many things – be it in a sour or sweet cocktail. It is a very complex bitter with a lot of dark spices and herbs. A very distinct taste that’s full and somehow feels very old school.
Claus Seiers thoughts on the Tribute Bitter:
“Oh my, this was the hardest for me to do – it was supposed to be a take on the old lost cocktail bitters of the 1800’s but it became so much more than that. Dark, punchy and full of flavour.
I actually call the Tribute and the Aromatic brothers, as they do such different thing in a classic cocktail that a rarely use one without the other.”
Residue can occur in the bottle as we filter our products as little as possible to keep them as flavorful as possible.
